Multiple locations in the town, mainly around the market place. Features a variety of styles - Morris dance, acoustic and folk, and some rock-ish. There is also a fringe festival. And it’s along the M2, close to Canterbury.

On the edge of the Cotswolds, minutes from the M40, Manor Farm is ideally situated for convenience in an environment for learning and enjoying the company of fellow fiddlers. Workshops, masterclasses, concerts and a ceilidh. One-to-one tuition also available from some tutors. Camping available for attendees and family - advance booking required.

Filey Folk Festival is one of the mainstays of this North Yorkshire seaside town’s musical year. It is a free-entry independent folk festival on the North Yorkshire Coast, with ticketed evening concerts also available. Over 100 musicians perform Traditional and Contemporary Folk, Americana, Country, Blues, and everything in between. The festival also features Singarounds/Sessions.

Spurred on by a love of folk music and outdoor activity, and seeing potential in a farm not used to its full potential, 20–30 volunteers came together to begin a big tidy-up and clear-out. Through the efforts of countless volunteers and five festivals, the aim to renovate and maintain the farm has been a success. There is still work to be done.
