A multi-award winning creative and performing arts festival set in the beautiful grounds of Catton Hall in the heart of the National Forest. The Midlands largest performing and creative arts festival. Includes some folk bands. Winner of several festival awards over recent years.

Beardy Folk Festival is a new Midsummer music weekend featuring a line-up of contemporary, traditional and acoustic indie folk music. The festival site includes children’s entertainment, a food court, real ale, cider and cocktail bars, circus workshops, traditional rides, a climbing wall, yoga, and a small trade village.

Beautiful Days is the Levellers’ annual 15,000-capacity family-friendly weekend camping festival at Escot Park, which began in 2003. The festival features a large children’s area in its centre, comedy, theatre, family camping, a healing area, licensed real ale bars from Otter Brewery, and carefully selected food and craft stalls. It was named one of the Best Family Festivals in 2013 by the Guardian.

In the streets and in venues all around the town, the best of local performers bring folk, jazz, blues and world music, colourful dance displays and children’s entertainment. The Beggars Fair has been running since 1993 and is living up to its aims of showcasing local talent in a friendly environment.

Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival describes itself as quirky, offering a wide variety of musical styles and a large number of acts, including folk groups. Voted the UK’s most popular summer music festival on TripAdvisor. Held in Beauly (IV4 7BA) from Thursday 30 July 2026 for three days. Full price £230; two-day and one-day tickets also available.
