Festival

The festival supports several charities. A range of Morris-related sides, workshops, music sessions, headline gigs, ceilidhs and barn dances, performances and storytelling, artisans, and a children’s area are already booked.

A weekend of Louisiana-style music, dance, food, drink, and meeting people.

Over 500 events in one week, with venues all over Broadstairs, including the Concert Tent, Pavilion on the Sands, Sailing Club, Bandstand, Jetty and many more. A real ale tent sits next to the concert marquee; free music in pubs as well as sessions. Festival campsite available for season ticket holders.

Now in its third year. Poets, writers, artists, musicians and actors all live within close proximity of the town — Bungay has that effect on people. The programme includes sessions and concerts, featuring some well-known names. The festival is all about participation. Visitors are invited to enjoy the ambience, the eclectic and exciting shops, and the excellent food and beer. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own instruments.
