A festival for harp enthusiasts, featuring courses, concerts, workshops, a harp exhibition, sessions, and a ceilidh.

Edinburgh TradFest – Dun Eideann is Edinburgh’s only multi-arts festival dedicated to traditional culture and folk arts. The programme includes music, song, storytelling, dance, folk drama, arts and crafts, literature, architecture, film, and multimedia. It features traditional music from Scotland and around the world.

The festival features live music and local brew in a stunning location. It is run by volunteers, and money raised is used to improve facilities and features in the venue. The church is no longer used for worship but is used by the community for events and music.

The festival works in conjunction with charitable and educational bodies to identify emerging talent on the island and give them a platform to perform. There are also opportunities to learn about digital media and the Gaelic language, and to listen to local and visiting musicians. The festival encompasses more than music; it also showcases ‘Made in the Hebrides’ products. The festival is held in Lini.

A medieval event featuring stage shows, jousting, music and dance, with activities for children. The festival offers a full lineup of folk music and is family-friendly, with a particular emphasis on older and traditional music.

20th anniversary A weekend event showcasing 15 to 20 local and independent music’s best bands. Our goal is to create a reasonably priced, small summer music festival that provides an overwhelmingly positive, comfortable and fun, family experience for both attendees and musicians in a beautiful countryside setting for around 500 people.
