A night of topical song, spoken word and more, taking place at the Westgarth Social Club on the first Thursday of the month. Above the Parapet celebrates artists getting together to give a voice to the ordinary person. This new folk club meets at the Accrington Cricket Club (BB5 5BD) every alternate Wednesday from 8.30 to 11pm.

After six years of presenting live music, Acoustic Sussex has no events planned in the foreseeable future, though this may change.

The club meets at The Railway Inn, 43 Main Street, West Calder, West Lothian, EH55 8DL, on the third Tuesday of each month from 8pm in the back room.
