The Folkroom is Folkroom Records very own free fortnightly gig, bringing together the freshest new talent on the London folkscene in one beautiful and intimate venue! The Folkroom gigs are our chance to show you what we’re listening to and loving, aswell as a chance to catch some of Folkroom Records artists absolutely free in one of the best pubs in London. Held every other Wednesday at The Queens Head on Acton Street, just six minutes walk from King’s Cross station, The Folkroom is home to great drinks, great music and great pork pies. Forest Folk began in February 2001 and has grown steadily with the continued support of those who attend its monthly singarounds and guest nights. Singarounds are held on the first Mondays of the month, commencing at 7.45 pm, and are free with a jug collection; guest nights take place on the third Mondays, starting at 8 pm and finishing at 11 pm. Singarounds are held in the North Boarhunt Social Club, which has a well-stocked bar including real ales, with guest nights taking place in the adjoining Village Hall. ...

Friday Folk Club meets every Friday at the RMA Club, Walmer Green, Deal, Kent at 8.15pm. Mainly singer’s nights, with guest artists approx once a month.

Fyvie Folk Club The club meets on the first and second Wednesdays of each month in the Vale Hotel, Fyvie in the North East of Scotland. Fyvie Folk Club was first formed during the Folk Revival of the 1960’s/70’s, but faded away after running for a few years.
