The entertainment provided at this premier folk music venue consists of Special Guest Concert Nights (at least once a month, sometime twice) when performers of the highest quality both local, national, and occasionally international, are booked to appear. Reasonably priced ticketed admission ensures that each month the venue is usually packed with enthusiastic ‘folkies’ and devotees of traditional and contemporary folk and acoustic music. When it is not a concert night, the remaining Thursdays are ‘Singers & Musicians Nights’ when a variety of singers, musicians and poets gather to show off their skills in a singaround format. The Huntly Folk Club takes place on the third Wednesday of every month at Harry’s Bar (behind The Crown pub) and starts at 8pm.

We have open mic nights and we try to give everyone the opportunity to do something, be it singing, playing an instrument or something else. Although we call ourselves a folk club we enjoy many styles of music and a typical night might include traditional & modern folk music, blues, country music.

Inverclyde Folk Club meets every Tuesday night from around 8pm onwards at The Loreto Club, Houston Street, Greenock, Inverclyde, Scotland PA16 8DA. Monthly events include Open Stages, Visiting Clubs, Guest Performers, Charity Events, Community Visits and more. Old and new members are always welcome. The club originally met at Baxters, then at The Liberal Club.
