The aim of the club is to provide a platform where the finest roots musicians in the UK can showcase their talent to an appreciative audience. Each month, the club features three established or up-and-coming acts drawn from many musical genres, including folk, blues, country, contemporary and world music. Slots last on average about 40 minutes.

Leyland Accordion Club meet on the first, third and if there is one, the fifth Wednesday in each month. The first and fifth Wednesdays of the month are informal nights where we drink coffee, talk about music, play, give instruction etc, The third Wednesday is always our concert night where we hold a concert on the stage, this is similar to an open mic night at other clubs. On a concert night the doors open at 7.30 PM. From 8pm onwards we listen to a variety of amateur and professional players on our stage.
