Folk Sessions
A loose collection of local talents, both music & song, mostly in the Folk tradition, with the odd bit of new or music hall thrown in for good measure. Most sessions are a music & sing around, come all ye, based in a nice free house pub in Crowborough, with decent beer. We meet on the 1st Saturday of every month, at 7.30pm ish. A pub on the left when arriving at Miltown on the road from Ennis. It was Willie Clancy’s regular.
Friel's Bar (Miltown Malbay)
Known among musicians as one of the best sessions in the county, with fewer tourists and strong playing. Home of the Willie Clancy Summer School overflow each July.
Friel's Bar (Swatragh)
The session is open to visiting musicians and locals. A rotating set of host musicians plays each week. Starts at 8.30.
