The Thatch
A thatched pub just outside Birr on the Roscrea road. The Thursday session draws players from across the midlands — something about the room (or in the beer) makes people play better.
The Toby Jug
Mostly ballads and “come-alyas”, along with some more traditional material.
The Tower Bar
Friday and Saturday sessions on the most-walked street in Wexford town. A good centrepiece for an evening that starts with dinner on the quays.
The Valley House
A beautiful historic venue for traditional music and folk sessions. Sessions are held regularly on Saturday nights and also on Thursday nights during the summer season.
The Vault
The Vault takes place at The Vault Art Centre, Newton Stewart, on Fridays. Times are variable.
The Villa Rose Hotel
All ages and abilities welcome. Anyone is free to play or sing. Well established.
