Session

Traditional session at Whelan’s in Dublin.

A pleasant and lively mix of Ballads, sea shanties, jigs, reels and god knows what else. In the bar of the ‘White Sands hotels’ (Beside Tamango’s nightclub!) Its a friendly fun session.

Great music - hosts are Maria (Flute), John Boy (bouzouki), Darragh (pipes) and Kevin (Fiddle). Visiting musicians welcome to join in but you need to be there about 9 to secure a seat.

Acoustic music session - anything (reasonable) goes. Emphasis on (lively) tunes plus some songs. Starts 8-30pm.

Cecil Sharp House, the home of the English Folk Dance and Song Society, hosts several folk, Cajun, bluegrass, etc. events.
