York’s premier folk music venue, presenting local, national and international guest artists in an atmospheric oak-panelled room in the historic Black Swan Inn. Singers Nights are held once a month, and we also present 7 or 8 concerts a year at the nearby National Centre for Early Music, as well as organising an annual and free Folk Weekend at the Black Swan. We were voted BBC Radio 2 Folk Club of the Year in 2009.
