DV8 barn dance

Although there are specialist events for experienced dancers of particular dance styles, a barn dance is normally a fun and light-hearted event for everyone to enjoy, regardless of age or ability. Circle dances, longways sets, squares and even a waltz for couples — there can be plenty of variety, and the opportunity to meet a new partner each time through a dance. The caller will explain all the moves fully, working with a radio microphone to help the dancers on the dance floor.

There is no need to worry about getting it wrong; the main thing is to enjoy the barn dance. The bar will be open from 7.30 until 11.30, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Tickets are £5.
