Forest Folk began in February 2001 and has grown steadily with the continued support of those who attend its monthly singarounds and guest nights. Singarounds are held on the first Mondays of the month, commencing at 7.45 pm, and are free with a jug collection; guest nights take place on the third Mondays, starting at 8 pm and finishing at 11 pm. Singarounds are held in the North Boarhunt Social Club, which has a well-stocked bar including real ales, with guest nights taking place in the adjoining Village Hall.
