The Mull of Kintyre Music Festival or MOK Fest as it is affectionately known is a celebration of traditional and contemporary Scottish and Irish music. Based in Campbeltown, Kintyre on the West coast of Scotland the Festival has a great mix of free outdoor events, concerts, ceilidh’s, music sessions, workshops, children’s entertainment, parades, cultural and heritage tours in large venues and intimate halls.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2012, the Festival has now become one of the main cultural and community events in Argyll and Bute and has featured bands including Deacon Blue, Capercaillie, The Stranglers, Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Idlewild, Altan, Eddi Reader, the Bootleg Beatles, Peatbog Faeries and Aly Bain & Phil Cunningham.
