Shetland Folk Festival

The UK’s most northerly folk festival is run by a voluntary committee, with concerts throughout Shetland. Visiting and local artists share programmes in community halls, Mareel’s music auditorium, and Clickimin Leisure Centre in Lerwick.

Festival members have a Festival Club at Islesburgh Community Centre in Lerwick, with daytime concerts, sessions and workshops. The weekend ends with Foy concerts across three venues, where visiting acts play a short set in each hall.
