No music is currently held at the pub (as of February 2023).

Suitable for intermediate or improver-level players.

Tuesday night set dancing at Monroe’s is a Galway institution. Beginners are welcome, and regulars will draw newcomers onto the floor. Live trad throughout.

Generally an older crowd and a slower pace, making it a good learning environment. A supportive group.

Starting on March 13th, the session runs on Sundays from 6–8 pm, featuring Charlie Lennon, Éilís Lennon and Toner Quinn.

Two trad sets a day, every day. Early one at 5pm, late one at 9pm.

Friday night session upstairs with Gabriel Gonzalez, Ciaran de Burca and friends.

The session is held in the upstairs room. Traditional musicians only — no amplification, no set lists. One of the most authentic sessions in Connacht, held nightly.
