Junior/kids session at 5:30 pm, followed by the seniors’ session. Welcoming to musicians.

Uniquely, bar takings are split among all musicians (once a player can contribute), making for a very open session. See the website for more information.

The skill level is fairly broad; beginners are welcome alongside seasoned regular musicians who attend the session.

A pub in Galway town with a growing reputation for trad sessions. Sessions run seven days a week, usually twice a day at around 6pm and again at 9pm, with a two-hour set on Sunday afternoons. Lock-in regulars say it is the best in the city since 2019.

Banjo/uileann pipes/flute/concertina and more. Friendly and welcoming. Kicks off around 10pm Sunday nights - early September to late May (inkeeping with GMIT Letterfrack academic year). Suitable for learners.
