Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival describes itself as quirky, offering a wide variety of musical styles and a large number of acts, including folk groups. Voted the UK’s most popular summer music festival on TripAdvisor. Held in Beauly (IV4 7BA) from Thursday 30 July 2026 for three days. Full price £230; two-day and one-day tickets also available.

The clue’s in the name - it features fiddlers. As always, the Inverness Fiddlers will be joined by special guests for the event. Not sure if it is folky or just fiddlers, but you can always contact them and ask.

Inverness Music Festival is a competitive music festival open to all ages and abilities. Performers are adjudicated on their performance. It takes place at Inverness Methodist Church. So if you can play and want to show the world how help, enter the festival.
