The club is an open mic meeting every Tuesday at the British Oak pub, Old Dover Road, Blackheath. It is more of an acoustic than a pure folk club; recent sessions have included virtually every musical genre. The club has a 300-watt Yamaha PA system with 2 mics and 4 other inputs. If more inputs are needed, a Behringer mixer can be made available with prior notice. The space is relatively limited and a four-piece band is probably the optimum. ...

The Croydon Folk and Blues Club meets every Sunday evening, usually around 8:00, at Ruskin House, 23 Coombe Road, Croydon, Surrey. Everyone is welcome, and musicians of all abilities are encouraged to have a go if they wish. The music usually starts at 8:30 with the regular sessions. An hour later there is a hotspot, which features a special guest.
