Salford Folk Music Workshop. Players from music teachers to amateurs, on accordion, fiddle, guitar, keyboard, whistle, mandolin, bass, and more. Any instrument is welcome.

Liverpool sea shanty session at the Baltic Fleet, hosted by Trim Rig and A Doxy, Mick and Mary McGarry, and Andy Kenna. Last Saturday of every month, including New Year’s Eve when it falls on a Saturday.

Sandbach Unplugged at The George, High Street. Floor singers welcome; guests twice a month.

The Railway, Greenfield, Saddleworth, Greater Manchester. Regular concerts with well-known names, locally and nationally. I’ve been asked to get together some musicians. I don’t know waht it’ll be like but all are welcome if you have nowhere else to play that night.
