The entertainment provided at this premier folk music venue consists of Special Guest Concert Nights (at least once a month, sometime twice) when performers of the highest quality both local, national, and occasionally international, are booked to appear. Reasonably priced ticketed admission ensures that each month the venue is usually packed with enthusiastic ‘folkies’ and devotees of traditional and contemporary folk and acoustic music. When it is not a concert night, the remaining Thursdays are ‘Singers & Musicians Nights’ when a variety of singers, musicians and poets gather to show off their skills in a singaround format. Audience and non-performers are encouraged to attend also and ADMISSION IS FREE. Occasionally, about every quarter the organisers promote a themed Open Mic evening, e.g.
