Joe McKenna leads an open session with a mix of playing and singing. It often runs longer than the advertised hours.

Roots bands on Wednesday; trad/folk Thursday to Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Some sessions are open. Known musicians and singers are often asked to join in.

Arklow’s main trad night. Friday sessions on the quayside, with a strong session history in a port town that kept trad going through quieter decades.

A weekly trad session in Rathnew, held on Thursdays at The Cartoon Inn, a pub off the N11.

All skill levels welcome.

Sessions are held on Saturdays in a mountain pub in Ireland’s highest village, near the Wicklow Gap. Occasional Sunday sessions take place in summer.
